Use LinkedIn to find someone working in the Human Resources department, or potentially more challenging - find the hiring manager and follow or connect with them. By initiating direct contact, you're no longer a faceless application lost in ether; you are an enthusiastic human with the skills they are looking for.

Moreover, forget about firing off generic messages to every recipient in sight. Susan always champions quality over quantity.
